Primary students celebrate Independence Day with Camaraderie

The Independence Day of Indonesia is the most awaited

holiday of the year. As always, Independence Day celebration is fun,

and it gets better every year.

This year, Kanaan Global School celebrated Indonesia’s

Independence Day on the 20 th of August through fun games and

drawing contest. The students came at 7:00 in the morning, wearing

red shirt and white pants. To start the day, the students had a flag

ceremony from 7:00 until 7:35 a.m. It was a sweltering day, so the

students cooled off by playing water games. The whole morning, the

students were playing lots of fun games, including popping the

balloons filled with water, drawing contest and bucket filling game.

With camaraderie and competitive spirit, the primary students

were positively competing against each other. The air was filled with

excitement. All classes from different levels were cheering for their

own teams. The prizes were given by the principal during the

awarding ceremony.

At the end of the day, everybody left the school happily. It was

the best moment ever!
